In this super one-man show, Paul Yen reimagines three iconic superheroes to examine the history of Asians in America and his own struggle with identity in the film industry. Weaving in his humorous observations and personal experiences, Yen explores the different masks Asian Americans wear through the eyes of Superman, a model minority who stands for truth, justice, and the American way; Batman, whose wealth doesn’t free him from discrimination; and Spiderman, a young adult facing his responsibility to help his immigrant family and community.
